Waiting For New Snow, is a winter poem and something that I've had in my head for a bit now. It is a poem about waiting but also the power of winter. The wait for a clean beginning, a fresh start and something to look forward too. I think it is safe to say that a lot of us are struggling from the fallout of the pandemic, myself included. The constant state of semi-purgatory and wondering what the future holds. This was shot last winter near Lake Tahoe, before the pandemic really hit, and over the course of 2.5 days, it snowed a little over 5 feet, we had never seen anything like it. *** Snow is the greatest illustration of how teeny, tiny small things can make a difference. Consider the snowflake, nearly microscopic, yet when steadily added one on top of another, they become powerful! They can change everything!
